Dr. Winnie Zhang grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and studied overseas during high school in Shanghai, China. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Rutgers University in New Jersey before going on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh. During her time in dental school, she was a member of the Pitt Dental Rowing Team and served as the chapter president of the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry.
Upon graduation, Dr. Zhang completed a general practice residency in Newark, NJ where she discovered her passion for endodontics. This led her to complete an intensive two year residency and receive her Specialty Certification in Endodontics from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She worked in private practice in the North Jersey area before relocating to Pittsburgh, where she is happy to call home.
Dr. Zhang is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association, New Jersey Association of Endodontists and New Jersey Dental Association. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her wife and Maltese pup. She also likes working out, cooking new recipes, reading and traveling.
