Dr. Mahajan completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at John Hopkins University focused on biology and epidemiology. Spending a few years as a public health researcher, Dr. Mahajan has published a number of articles on the correlation of exposure to various chemicals and the incidence of cancer. Returning to further his education, Dr. Mahajan earned his DMD degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and completed his General Practice Residency at the Ohio State University School of Dentistry. He worked as a general dentist for a few years before returning to University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry to complete his post-doctoral training in Endodontics and earning his Endodontics Specialty Certificate.
